We implement a coherent user interface, ensuring it’s built to perform as intended.

What we do

We implement all the elements of the interface, from screen layouts to system states.

We work closely with your coders and align direction using prototypes and screen-sharing. We provide them with a design system and resources to efficiently implement the designs as we meant for them to look and behave.

How we do it

We conduct lean user testing as we implement the interface so we can flag issues, quickly make changes and improve solutions.

We always involve your tech team when making design decisions that might impact development, so we can make the right call. We provide them with a design system that includes a library of UI components, layouts, templates, icons, typography and brand elements. We give guidance on why and how to use them, so design components become easier to discern and implement. We use Abstract, a cloud-based design repository and version control platform (like Github for design).

What’s the benefit?

Early and frequent testing with users allow us to spot problems in the designs and fix them before and during production, which saves time and money.

Using a consistent design system provides the interface with coherence, speeds up production, assists coders implementing the interface in the right way for the users, simplifies maintenance and helps standardise your stack.

Interactions, animations & transitions

How we do it

We implement transitions and animations that give users an opportunity to engage with the interface in meaningful ways. We produce prototypes that show how they will work and provide your coders with interaction guides that outline position, rotation, scale, sound and timing of the elements.

What’s the benefit?

Good transitions, animations and micro-interactions help the user to develop an intuitive understanding of the different parts of the interface and enables system feedback for the user. They have the power to make the user experience delightful and satisfying in a way that many design elements cannot.

UX quality control & optimisation

How we do it

During the execution stage, we make sure what we are building performs as intended. We run frequent unmoderated quantitive testing such as A/B, click/tap, design surveys and preference tests. Along side this we run qualative testing such as moderated user testing and diary studies.

We regularly review developers builds to detect deviations from designs, test performance and efficiency.

What’s the benefit?

It provides quality assurance and gives a chance to double-check the experience and provide alternative solutions, which are more economical to implement while being in the development phase.

Marketing assets

How we do it

We support your marketing team providing design assets and collateral to communicate your product to your audience. These can include landing pages, email templates, product screenshots and preview videos.

What’s the benefit?

It helps communicating to your target audience the value and benefits of your product.
